Rajiv Sood
Dr. Rajiv Sood is currently the Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Services at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center and Vice President of Clinical Research at the JMS Research Foundation in Augusta, Georgia, USA. Previously, he served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Indiana University and as the Medical Director at Riley and Eskenazi Burn Center. Globally, he has presented over 200 papers and written over 20 articles, 16 book chapters, and the book “Burn Reconstruction and Rehabilitation” (2006). He has assisted in the production of multiple public service announcements intended to educate the public on fire prevention and instructional videos for burn providers focused on the care of large TBSA burn patients. His background, dedication, and 27 years of experience as the Medical Director of the Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center bring a unique experience and focus to the care of his patients.
